David is a fundraising project, named for King David’s famous warriors,
for students and Torah-learning in Jerusalem,
on Mount Zion.
In gratitude for your donation, we pray 40 consecutive days for you at King
David’s Tomb, located on the premises of Diaspora Yeshiva on Mount
Zion.

For generations, Jews have traditionally made
pilgrimages to the tombs of their prophets and sages to pray for marriage,
healing, children, income and many other heartfelt requests. There is also
a long-standing tradition of donating to have a pious Jew pray in your
place, since not everyone is able to make such a journey. We have many
students at Diaspora Yeshiva who would love to pray for you!

Whether you desire a marriage
partner, health, children, business or career success, or something else,
you too can join the countless other people who have had their prayers
answered through this segula.

The tziun
(gravesite) of David Hamelech has been a
heritage dating back to the Second Temple. About 400 years ago. The
Holy Ari z”l, Rabbi Yitzchak Luria,
testified and established that King David's resting place is in his current
tziun at Har
Tzion (Mount Zion) in Jerusalem.
The
King David Heritage Foundation has been giving Jewish people all
over the world an opportunity to send their prayers to the holy site of
David Hamelech. Certainly in merit of all
this, our righteous Messiah who is of the son of King David will come, and
King David himself will get up to stand at his side to guide him as is
explained at the end of Tractate Sukkah.
