The Rosh HaYeshiva

        The Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Dr. Mordecai Goldstein, shlita, is both the founder and spiritual leader of the Diaspora Yeshiva. He studied for many years at the Chofetz Chaim Yeshiva in New York, and received his Rabbinical ordination from its Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Hanoch Leibowitz, shlita. In Israel, he attended the Machon Harry Fischel in Jerusalem.

    Rabbi Goldstein has dedicated his life to qualitatively upgrade Jewish scholarship by combining traditional Talmudic methods of study with modern techniques. A master of both Torah and Mussar, the Rabbi has built a dynamic center of Torah education, providing world Jewry with its future spiritual leaders. He is a warm and deeply sincere human being who is revered and loved by his students and by Jews throughout the world.
