A Special Study of Character & Personality Development (Mussar)

Tremendous effort is devoted to the acquisition of Yiras HaShem - the correct attitude towards G-d, which results in man having the proper relationship to himself, his fellow man and to the A-mighty. Following the great Rabbis of the Mussar Movement, the Yeshiva engages in a deep study of the forces within man. Students receive intensive training in the art of being master of their emotions and feelings in accordance with Jewish values. A particular example of this training is the weekly session called Va’ad Mussar, in which students offer and receive open constructive criticism from their friends for total growth.

Great emphasis is placed on this point, because in Judaism, learning and the perfection of character are inseparable
